Book Match October -March
Book Match is a lunch time activity for fourth and fifth grade students. Participants are expected to read at least ten books from the list of fifty books. Team competition begins in January at the Highland Park Public Library and runs through the end of March. Each team can expect to participate in up to six competitions. Mrs. Grost and Ms. Polakoff are the coaches for this activity. Read the parent letter to get the details.
Top Fourteen Reasons to Join Book Match
1. We get occasional smarties from the coaches. Laura F

3. There are lots of interesting topics featured in the books. Hannah A
4. If you like mysteries, Mystery on Museum Mile was a book I enjoyed reading. Victoria J
5. It is fun going to the Highland Park Public Library, it was a mini field trip each time we walked there. Maddy M
6. We go to matches where we compete against other schools. Lucy M
7. If you join Book Match, you get to stay inside and warm during lunch and recess on Tuesdays. Victoria J
8. We play games like Book Bingo, to learn and review characters settings and problems in the stories. Lucy M
